Kiosk Development Engineer

LOCAL to the Truckee Area ONLY (within commuting distance)

The Office BOSS has a position open in our Truckee Services facility, near the Truckee Airport.

The Office BOSS has a Shipping Kiosk product under development; The Phase I prototype is complete and operational; Phase II prototyping is ongoing. This position involves a wide range of tasks involving all aspects of Kiosk product development and testing — software, hardware, networking, component selection, mounting and container/Kiosk Housing design and specification.

Additional Responsibilities include assisting with customer service in retail sales of Shipping Services, Office Products and Printing Services.

Duties as Product Development Engineer:

* Work closely with the Product Development Team in managing the entire Kiosk development project.

* Instrumental in Enclosure Design/Testing.

* Lead in communications with vendors for component selection and specification.

* Create design specifications and drawings as required for system and component integration.

* Product Research, Purchasing, integration and Testing.

This person will report directly to the BOSS Management.

The right candidate will have the following characteristics:

1) Attention to Detail and very strong work ethic with a desire to find solutions.

2) Excellent communication skills — Develop strong relationships with the BOSS Team.

3) Computer Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, PC Networking, PC and printer communications; troubleshooting.

4) Software Skills: Familiarity with C++ programming; Javascript and MS Visual Studio platforms.

5) High integrity with absolutely no drug or alcohol issues.

6) Self-Motivation with a desire to move fast and accomplish all goals.

7) Leadership and self-starter characteristics that will create and maintain a level of excellence in both the product development and fellow BOSS Team personnel.

8) Hands-on style: Solve problems and find solutions!

9) Maturity and Confidence with a desire to help others in a positive friendly manner.

10) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs boxes; standing and moving fast throughout the day.

This position will be based out of the Truckee Services location, out near the Truckee Airport.
