Placer County is currently accepting applications for Senior Planner in the Auburn and Tahoe areas. There are currently four permanent/full-time vacancy in Community Resource Development Agency. There are one vacancies in each of the following divisions: Tahoe Administration and Planning Services, Environmental Coordination, County Conservation, and Current Planning Services.
As a Senior Planner you will perform a variety of highly responsible complex professional planning duties in the field of current and advance planning; assume a lead role over less experienced professional and technical staff; provide information and assistance to developers and the public on complex planning matters.

Salary plus up to an additional $1,000 per month Tahoe Branch Assignment Premium for employees who are permanently assigned to a position located in the North Lake Tahoe Area.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible planning experience performing duties similar to those of an Associate Planner.
Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in urban, regional or environmental planning, or a closely related field.
