Martis Camp Club’s Lookout Lodge restaurant is winter dining at its best. Just off the private ski hill and lift, the Lookout Lodge dining team serves members and their families as they head to and return from a Tahoe-perfect day on the slopes. The floor to ceiling windows with a beautiful view doesn’t hurt either!
The Lookout Lodge FOH team is looking for a winter season bartender to wow the members with delicious drinks and amazing service. The ideal fit for this position is someone with experience in serving who approaches interactions in a service minded way and works well in a team. Our aim is to provide members and their families amazing service while creating a warm and friendly environment in which to relax.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
• Attending members and guests with impeccable drink service, as well as beer, wine and alcohol knowledge
• Assist members in selecting beverages by maintaining a thorough knowledge of changing menus and specialty drinks
• Protect members by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Prepare drink orders timely and with careful attention to detail of each beverage served
• Be familiar with Fine Dining sequence of service and deliver orders accordingly
• Obtain revenues by charging the appropriate member account promptly in POS system
• Perform basic bar side-work and additional cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Assist with special events as needed
• Promptly address service issues and refer members to management when necessary
• Adhere to all health, safety, cleaning, and disinfecting guidelines related to Covid-19
• Other duties as assigned by the Dining Manager, F&B Director, Bar Manager
Physical requirements:
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours in a shift with one 30-minute lunch break and two ten-minute breaks
• Must be able to safely lift, carry, or transport food and drinks from kitchen to table
• Must be able to grip silverware, dishware, and drinkware safely
• Must be able to safely kneel, bend, twist
• Must be able to safely lift/carry up to 20 pounds max at one time
Other requirements:
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (excludes marijuana results for 21 and over)
• Must have a minimum of one of year professional bartending experience
• Must have current ServSafe certification
• Must be professional at all times in grooming and communication
• Must engage all (members, guests, fellow Ambassadors) in a polite and friendly manner
