Tahoe Mountain Sports is Truckee & Lake Tahoe’s premier outdoor gear and clothing shop for human-powered adventures from the trail to the skintrack. We are your go-to shop for backcountry skiing, trail running, hiking, backpacking, climbing, and cross-country skiing. We have footwear and apparel for year round outdoor activity enjoyment. We have recently opened a second location in downtown Truckee which has a highly curated selection of casual athletic and lifestyle apparel and footwear.

Primary duties will include:

• Conduct sales and rentals of general outdoor gear, footwear and apparel
• Assist customers with product selection in our store, via phone, and email
• Provide knowledgeable information about outdoor activities in the Truckee-Tahoe region
• Support in-store merchandising and marketing efforts
• Have fun, be a team player and get outside

A willingness to obtain a high level of product knowledge is a must!

Scheduling is flexible and includes weekends and holidays. We are open to creative scheduling that supports your active Tahoe lifestyle. This position is full or part time.

Salary: $20-$30/hr, dependent on experience. Position is open until filled. Year-round employment if desired with opportunities to advance.

Schedule & Compensation

• $20 – $30 per hour, depending on experience
• Full time (40 hours/week with at least 1 weekend day)
