About Us:

Your Role:

As our Bookkeeper, you’ll be more than just a number cruncher. You’ll be a guardian of our church’s financial well-being, playing a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring we can continue our mission for years to come.

What We Need From You:

  • Skills & Experience: Your proficiency in bookkeeping is key and experience in the non-profit sector is a plus. You should be adept with QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Tasks & Responsibilities:
    • Efficiently manage payroll and accounts payable and receivable.
    • Ensure meticulous financial record-keeping, including monthly and annual reports.
    • Take charge of our financial documentation, from insurance paperwork to tax records.
    • Managing inventory of physical assets of the church annually
    • Provide crucial insights into our financial status at monthly leadership meetings.

The Logistics:

  • Hours & Location: Expect 8-15 hours monthly, with the flexibility of remote work, save for occasional in-person tasks at our church office.
  • Compensation: We value your skills and offer $25 to $30 per hour, with the possibility of a pay review after six months.
