To assist and support Executive Chef, to ensure efficient and professional preparation of pastries and baked goods for bar, dining room, and banquets.
To portion, plate, and tray all desserts.
To review banquet function sheets and complete daily task log prepared by Executive Chef.
To assist in the maintenance of a reference file of current recipes.
To requisition pastry supplies, as needed and approved.
To fill pastry orders, as requested.
To follow all specified procedures to open or close the kitchen.
To ensure safe work practices, including compliance with company and departmental safety rules and regulations and the proper use and handling of all relevant equipment.
To order product, as needed, through the appropriate vendors.
To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas and equipment at all times.
To attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.

Bi-level structure.
Stands and walks short distances throughout shift. Frequently required to handle and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. over short distances. Bends, stoops, reaches, pushes, and lifts to perform routine job tasks. Must be able to work well under pressure. Frequent use of stairs, daily.
