Martis Camp Club’s Lookout Lodge restaurant is winter dining at its best. Just off the private ski hill and lift, the Lookout Lodge dining team serves members and their families as they head to and return from a Tahoe-perfect day on the slopes. The floor to ceiling windows with a beautiful view doesn’t hurt either! The Lookout Lodge FOH team is looking for a winter season Busser either seasonal fulltime or seasonal part time to wow the members with delicious food and amazing service.

The ideal fit for this position is someone with experience in serving who approaches interactions in a service minded way and works well in a team. Our aim is to provide members and their families amazing service while creating a warm and friendly environment in which to relax. The Busser is responsible for providing Club Members and guests with the finest service while creating a warm and friendly environment.


Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Attending members and guests with impeccable timing and thoughtfulness
  • Assist your team by timely and thorough clearing and setting of the table as required by course or between seatings
  • Protect members by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
  • Prepare room for dining and setting decorations
  • Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; maintaining water and beverage service; being alert to member spills or other special needs
  • Perform basic restaurant side-work and additional cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
  • Assist with special events as needed
  • Promptly address service issues and refer members to management when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by the Dining Manager, F&B Director, Bar Manager


Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time with one lunch break and two ten-minute breaks
  • Must be able to safely lift, carry, or transport dishes to/from kitchen
  • Must be able to grip silverware, dishware, and drinkware safely
  • Must be able to safely kneel, bend, twist
  • Must be able to safely lift/carry up to 20 pounds max at one time


Other requirements:

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (excludes marijuana)
  • Must have a professional presentation to work in a Fine Dining environment and the desire to learn
  • Must have current ServSafe certification
  • Must be professional at all times in grooming and communication
  • Must engage all (members, guests, fellow Ambassadors) in a polite and friendly manner
  • A valid signed work permit (if under 18 years old)
