You will learn how to assist the Lift Maintenance team with our summer and or winter maintenance programs. You will be trained how to perform preventative maintenance including grip inspection, lift line and terminal adjustment work. You will be trained to perform start up and shut down duties on ski lifts. You will be trained in the process of sheave and grip rebuilding. You will learn how to use the many types of hand and power tools that are required to complete many elements of ski lift maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:   

• Must consider courtesy and safety the highest workplace priorities
• Clean driving record, ability to be added to Sugar Bowls drivers list
• Ability to work in a high stress fast paced environment
• Basic mechanical experience and knowledge
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to all people at all times
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights to perform necessary maintenance

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Consider courtesy and safety the highest workplace priorities
• Receive sign off on all mandatory training as determined by Manager
• Perform basic preventative maintenance duties
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work place
• Complete and submit written work documentation

UNIFORM: Sugar Bowl will provide coveralls and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment, (PPE).

Pay $22/hour – $26/hour dependent on experience.
