Little Truckee Ice Creamery in Truckee, CA at Donner Lake is looking for an ice cream maker / baker to join our team. We are a small batch artisan ice cream shop and manufacturer focused on making the best premium ice cream in the region. We are a thriving and high paced business during the summer months with a total staff of 20+ employees. The kitchen staff is made of 2-3 employees.
This is a seasonal full time position offering between 35-40 hours per week. Assistant Position is 15+ hrs a week. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, hard-working and organized.
Schedule: Seasonal May 1 – Sept 15 (Some hours for training and skill building may be available prior to May 15) Year round opportunities available.
This position offers a very flexible daily schedule. Many days this position offers your own choice of work times in a given day as long as the daily goals are met.

Due to intense seasonal business needs, please do not apply for this job if you plan to take extended (4+ day) vacations during the work term listed. We will not be able to grant extended vacations during the busy summer months.
Lead $20-26 hr DOE plus bonus
Assistant $18-23 DOE plus bonus
Benefits:
Many of the same requirements and duties of the Lead Ice Cream Maker, but may offer fewer hours and does not include the responsibility of running the commercial ice cream machine.
